How Fast Can AI Analyze Audio Evidence In Criminal Cases?

Writer: Rory McBrydeRory McBryde

This is a specific use case of Artificial Intelligence employed by WireTap, which utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP, and also referred to as “speech-to-text”) and a Large Language Model (LLM) to transcribe, summarize and analyze audio and video for lawyers and law enforcement.

WireTap helps find evidence and create a searchable database to quickly find evidence among hours of different files in criminal cases.

In this video, WireTap analyzes 1 and a half hours of audio. It takes 2 minutes to transcribe, and an additional 2 minutes to review the flagged calls (e.g. where our AI found potential evidence in jail calls) and find one that had legitimate evidence for the case.

If you’re interested in learning how to use a simple AI tool to assist your evidence review for law enforcement or lawyers in criminal cases, you can check us out at: www.wiretaptech.com

It’s free to sign up and try our free trial with 5 hour of audio transcription and analysis!
